Fulcrum of the Stars
One of the few true power trios, Fulcrum of the Stars was formed in New York City where they have all thrived as live performers. Fulcrum Of The Stars writes catchy, memorable songs, puts on amazing live shows, and are well on their way to a bright future.
Futurist - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Futurist
FUTURIST is a five-piece indie art rock band that delivers nuanced, poignant song-writing with a fiercely fresh sonic palette and an inspired vision. Singer/songwriter/guitarist/multimedia artist/visionary Curtis Peel sings of heartbreak and hope with such conviction that you can’t decide whether to hug a stranger or shake your ass, while the rest of the band (electronically enhanced violinist Emily Holden, guitarist Skyler Browning, bassist Brad Weiger, and drummer Joey Campanella) bring it home with their technical virtuosity and soulful sensibilities. Truly embracing the spirit of collaboration, their live shows often feature costumes, inventive stage-decoration, unique video projections, and audience interaction.

Compared to the likes of The Flaming Lips, Of Montreal, and The Helio Sequence, Futurist has quickly garnered the attention of bloggers and tastemakers alike. After being nominated for “Best Alt-Folk Artist of 2011” by the Deli Magazine, the music video for their hit single “Antihero,” was projected at The Deli INDMUSIC CMJ music marathon shows.

Hailing from the indie rock haven of Brooklyn, NY, Futurist released their first full-length studio album War is Yesterday on June 30th, 2011 with a spectacular three-floor multi-media installation and performance that involved over fifty artists.
I'll Be John Brown - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
I'll Be John Brown
I’ll Be John Brown is a 5-piece Country outfit that began on a couch in the East Village, New York City, in the winter of 2005. Since then, we’ve been working hard to capture the sound and spirit of classic country heroes ranging from Hank Williams and the Carter Family to Waylon Jennings and Roger Miller, while putting it all in a modern, high-energy package. We feel that much of what goes under the moniker of “Country” these days is not true to the roots of the genre. Here's our version. Enjoy.
Shwing! - (Set time: 8:00 PM)

The Renovering is a New York City based improvisational quartet featuring dual electric guitars, bass, and drums. Blending elements of classic rock, psychedelia and funk, Dorsia serves up concise, melodic compositions and sweeping, exploratory grooves.

Born out of Houston Street open jam sessions in the Fall of 2011, Dorsia has focused their attention on crafting flexible arrangements that lend themselves to live improvisation, yet can also stand on their own.

The band is currently refining their debut EP Release "Boundless" at their East Williamsburg studio location.
