Doors: 7:30 pm / Show: 8:00 pm

APPOMATTOX - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Appomattox have been stunning music freaks with their uniquely frenzied sound and sneaky-catchy songs since forming in late 03. They are indie rock instant gratification. Fast, loud and awesome. Their tight, heavy, vigorous music, not laden down by too much instrumentation or showiness, has the kick-your-ass heaviness of favorite 90s bands like Fugazi and Shudder to Think yet with a sort of raw, aching quality to the vocals.
Missing Ships - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Missing Ships
Son of immigrants moves to New Amsterdam to seek a better life, opportunity, and shelter from big fish/small pond syndrome. He runs into a group of funky and ingenious ragamuffins. Banding together they comb the blocks of Brooklyn in search of wild beats, cheap beer, and the story of the city as they see it.

Missing Ships are a genre defying collective of New York musicians drawing from far reaching musical inspiration including interstellar groove, druggy drone, arena pop explosions, psychedelic freak outs, rock noir and that's just before they get to practice.

Gregory Most: vox, guits and utter disrespect for sound waves
Mimi: vox, thunder clap
Nick Colvin: drums, stylish glasses
Zack Herman: keys
Matt La Von: sexyphone
Lips - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
A talented keyboard player with a soft spot for Casio sounds, Stephanie Brown a.k.a Lips performed extensively in her native New Zealand before moving to New York and forming the soul blues act Fredericks Brown in 2007. In 2010 Brown decided to take the leap and make music in her own right.

Characterised by a giant pair of lips on legs, Lips is that solo persona. Having already won comparisons to the likes of Oh Land and Little Dragon, her's is a unique sound characterised by masterful songwriting and a sly sense of humor. Whether it's loneliness or love, anger of happiness, Brown has a knack for capturing the bittersweet nuances of life and putting them to song.

Having released an EP via Bandcamp in 2010, Brown has just released the track "Everything to me", which she describes as "an everyday account of needing to take a break from your everyday... and the deeper sentiment of supporting your loved ones through the hurdles that life throws at them".

As Lips, Brown's ability to both transfix and entertain make her a must see live act.
Kitten Berry Crunch - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Kitten Berry Crunch
Kitten Berry Crunch made alot more sense of a name when Shaun Hettinger started this 80’s-loving synth-pop band with his cat Nico in Los Angeles. Then he lost the cat in a custody battle, but at least he kept the band name.

Now based out of Brooklyn, 2 years later, Kitten Berry Crunch has expanded to a 5-person live synth-pop band whose played alongside Vito from THE RAPTURE & just finished up mixing their “Dreams EP” with ERIC BROUCEK (DFA Records, The Juan Maclean, !!!, Cold Cave, Holy Ghost!).

Their original chillwave/synth-pop songs have popped up on major blogs like THEBURNINGEAR.COM & they’ve remixed tracks by artists like WILCO, PENGUIN PRISON, and FRANZ FERDINAND. Equally of note are their hilarious blog-worthy music videos - like last summer’s viral hit “When This Is Over”, which featured real cats playing instruments - and their brand new “Dead Kitten Dance Party!” currently buzzing on blogs like NICKYDIGITAL.COM & IGUESSIMFLOATING.NET.

Kitten Berry Crunch is:
Shaun Hettinger (vocals, keys, samples)
Dylan Izak (saxophone, percussion)
Harry Magzul (bass)
Daniel Morosi (drums)
Sean Silva (guitar)
