Tuff Sunshine (Album Release Show) - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Tuff Sunshine (Album Release Show)
Tuff Sunshine have been playing together for less than three months
(as of this writing 4/15/12). The short and the sweet:

Tuff Sunshine is John Leitera (guitar and vocals). His work with his
most recent band, Low Water, has been praised by American
Songwriter, Blurt, and has been featured on PBS’s Roadtrip Nation and
NPR’s “All Songs Considered” website, among others.

Tuff Sunshine is Ani Cordero (drums, percussion and backing vocals)
who in addition to fronting the wonderful Cordero has been a
touring drummer with Man or Astro-man?, Dean and Britta, and the
Cuban Cowboys, to name a few.

Tuff Sunshine is Turner Stough (bass), a Low Water alumni and
sought-after bassist-about-town in the NYC indie scene for several
years.

In the time it takes for some bands to decide on a name, they have
met, formed, written, and recorded what has turned out to be a
highly impressive, non-pretentious set of tunes. Catchy riffs,
male/female vocals, and a fresh take on arrangements that is
continuously being defined as the band figures out exactly what the
hell they sound like. Some 70’s classic rock, some garage, some
pop...“fireworks” and a “marching band in the rain” have been
bandied about as well.

Their first EP, “Half-Mast/Steadfast” (due in May) is 5 songs,
recorded in one day at The Kennel Studios in Brooklyn. More to
come.
The Concentrics - (Set time: 12:00 AM)
The Concentrics
The Concentrics are an original rock band whose music ranges over territory common to My Morning Jacket, Sun Volt, and Guided by Voices, as well as classic rock artists such as Elvis Costello and the Attractions. Featuring members of The Old Nationals, the MG-3s, The Ex-Caminos, and Spiraltone, The Concentrics make Rock that Pops
Brother Reverend - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Brother Reverend
The Brother Reverend's new record, "Ike Turner Kills Fascists" is a fourteen song LP that boasts vigorous song writing & solid musicianship.

The band says the new LP is merely a hint of what is to come. Their often-stated goal is to make a record better than "Love Child."
The Setup - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
The Setup
The Setup is a New York City Rock and Roll band with a distinct sound. More melodic than Lou Reed, more rock than Ryan Adams, and somewhere between The Stooges and The Pretenders.
This Frontier Needs Heroes - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
This Frontier Needs Heroes
This Frontier Needs Heroes is the Alternative Folk duo of brother-sister Brad and Jessica Lauretti from Brooklyn, NY.

Listening to This Frontier Needs Heroes is like having Brad and Jessica play in your backyard while the sun comes up. With their powerful delivery and delicate harmonies; their songs are full of honest, personal stories of love, loss and longing for a better world.

Since their 2009 debut release, they have received much acclaim from Itunes, NPR, Time Out New York, Time Out London, and Decider as well as indie blogs from around the globe. They have played hundreds of shows across the US and UK with Kath Bloom, She Keeps Bees, Arbouretum, Tallest Man on Earth, and The Handsome Family including several UK festival appearances.

In 2010, they used Kickstarter donations from their growing fan base to fund their follow up album. They decided to leave the studio for a more intimate approach and recorded in an old school house in Wassaic, NY, with engineer Justin Pizzoferrato (MV & EE, Dinosaur Jr., Thurston Moore). THE FUTURE, out May 10, 2011 on their newly formed label HEROIC ENDEAVOURS RECORDS, has wild new songs about all of their rambling experiences including new visions about space, family, heroes, history, and dogs.

THE FUTURE also includes album art in 3D and will be shipped with 3D glasses!
